Youth Red Cross Club

The 'Youth Red Cross' is an extension of Junior Red Cross. YRC is a group movement for students in institutions of higher In India, this Movement first took roots in the year 1926 in the State of Punjab. In course of time, the Movement spread its branches to other parts of the country. The history of Youth Red Cross in Tamil Nadu is interesting. With the support of educational authorities and Vice - Chancellors of Universities, the Youth Red Cross has grown over the years.

Main Objective:

  • YRC Movement is based on three basic Principles, Viz.,
  • Protection of health and life
  • Service to the sick and the suffering
Red Ribbon Club

Red Ribbon Club is a movement started by the Government of India in schools and colleges through which, students will spread awareness over HIV / AIDS. It envisages to instil charity mind among all the students to extend their able help towards developing healthy life styles, donating blood to all the needy by promotion of Regular voluntary blood donation.

Main Objective:

  • To create an awareness and to induce the spirit among youth to help and support people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) thereby reducing stigma and discrimination against PLHWAs.
  • To motivate youth and build their capacity as peer educators and change agents by developing their skills on leadership, negotiation, and team building.
  • To promote voluntary blood donation among youth.
National Service Scheme (NSS)

The National Service Scheme (NSS) at CEOA College functions with the inspiring motto, “Not Me, But You,” highlighting the spirit of selfless service and commitment to society. The NSS aims to shape students into socially responsible individuals by encouraging personal development, leadership skills, and active participation in community welfare activities. It plays a vital role in creating awareness about social issues and motivating students to contribute towards building a better and sustainable future.

At CEOA College, the NSS units are actively guided by dedicated programme officers who ensure the enthusiastic involvement of student volunteers in various outreach programs. With a strong team of committed volunteers, the NSS regularly organizes activities that benefit both the campus and the surrounding community.

Regular Activities:

Throughout the academic year, NSS volunteers participate in a wide range of regular activities focused on social service and community development. These include awareness programs on health, hygiene, and environmental protection, blood donation camps, tree plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns, and educational support initiatives. Such activities help students develop a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and compassion.

Women Empowerment Club

The Women’s Empowerment club works to promote equality of the genders in our community. This year we plan to raise money for the local domestic violence shelter, host virtual movie nights, and more. To inspire women to develop higher personal, educational and professional goals. To purpose awareness about “women's issues” in our community, for the purpose of making this community a better and safer place for all.

Rotaract Club

Rotaract believes in the motto of "Service Above Self" and is active in the communities. Rotaract clubs bring together people ages 18 and older to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service. In communities worldwide, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to take action through service.

Yoga Club

The ultimate aim of Yoga is to experience the Truth, by realizing the true nature of our 'Self' and the Universe. Then one can become free from the chain of cause and effect (Karma) which brings us to earthly life again and again.

Energy Club

Talks, Seminars, Workshops, Exhibitions and other awareness programmes are undertaken by the club every year to spread the message of energy conservation and environment protection. The major activities of the club include seminars, intracollegiate quiz and poster making competitions on energy conservation. To create awareness among the students about the benefit of Renewable energy usage. To provide students a platform to learn about the energy industry and employment opportunities in renewable energy sector.

Tamil Mandram Club

மாணவர்களின் தமிழ் ஆர்வத்தை உரிய வழியில் மேம்படுத்துவதும், இதனால் இளைஞர்களில் பொற்செய்யும் திறனைப் பாதுகாப்பதும் முக்கிய நோக்கமாகும். இக்கால இளைஞர்களில் பெரிய தமிழ் பண்பாட்டையும், கலாச்சாரத்தையும் பரவச்செய்யுதல். தமிழில் தொலில்நுட்ப அறிவை வளர்த்தல். தமிழ் நிகழ்ச்சிகள் சமைத்தாய நிகழ்வுகளுக்கேற்ப தொடர்ந்த நடையைப் பெறுதல்.

Literary Club

It is a club made for people who love literature, and want to share their experiences, readings and thoughts with others who have the same interest and talent. To inculcate within its members elite oratory skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills needed for personal interviews, group discussions, etc. Creative Writing Club provides students the opportunity to gather with peers to explore, discuss, read and produce writing. Members participate in writing activities and exercises, offer tips and information about the writing process, and share their work on a voluntary basis for constructive feedback.

Nature Club

This organization is focused on increasing students' understanding and appreciation of nature and raising awareness about the consequences of human activity on the natural world. Students will have the opportunity to learn about bees, native plants and animals, and how our actions impact the environment. The Nature Club aims at inculcating an appreciation of nature among students and encouraging them to participate in a variety of conservation initiatives.

NIFT CLUB

Student development programmers at NIFT have been built around providing an avenue for co curricular activities. Students also participate in a wide range of activities through the Student Development Activity Clubs (SDAC) .The Club Named as “BLOOMING CHEEKS”. This brings forth wonderful opportunities for students to exhibit their talents and develop their own aesthetic sense. it’s a place where students discover unique designs in hand and machine embroidery. Hand stitch embroidery is a versatile, relaxing craft using needle, thread, and fabric to create decorative designs. Beginners should start with essential stitches—running stitch, back stitch, stem stitch, French knots, and satin stitch—using embroidery floss and a hoop for tension. Key steps involve securing fabric tightly in a hoop, transferring patterns, and mastering consistent tension.

DIGITAL CLUB

Creative Junction Digital Club is a vibrant club focused on capturing and creating high-quality visual content for college events. The club specializes in photography, video graphy, and post-production editing to produce engaging content for social media platforms. By enhancing the institution’s digital presence, the club also offers students valuable opportunities to develop real-world skills in media production. Through hands-on experience, students build portfolios, gain industry exposure, and hone their creativity in a collaborative environment. Whether you're interested in photography, editing, or videography, Creative Junction Digital Club provides a platform for growth and creative expression.
