Overview

In the Bachelor's degree programme Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence, students acquire up-to-date knowledge about applied computing and the design of computer-based systems. Fundamental computer science modules include, for example, programming, software engineering, web technologies, database systems and big data, data visualization and human-computer interfaces. In addition, the programme covers central AI topics including computer vision, natural language understanding, expert systems, heuristic optimization, intelligent agents, machine learning and neural networks.

In addition, the students deal with ethical issues, data privacy and security problems associated with the use of information processing systems. They are able to work scientifically in teams and to transfer scientific results into professional practice as well as to communicate and present such results convincingly.
